Manchester City have officially announced the signing of Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United for a fee of £45m. The 26-year-old midfielder has signed a long-term contract with the Premier League champions.
Phillips, who has been capped 23 times by England, played a pivotal role in Leeds' rise from the Championship to the Premier League. He was also a key member of the England squad that reached the final of Euro 2020.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is delighted to have secured the services of Phillips, who is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
